This hybrid conference aims at offering a perspective both critical and playful on how homosexuals are represented in French popular cinema. Several speakers (a researcher in film studies, a film critic and a film maker) will react to chosen scenes from "La Cage aux folles" (Édouard Molinaro, 1978), "L’Homme blessé" (Patrice Chéreau, 1983), "Gazon maudit" (Josiane Balasko, 1997), "Drôle de Félix" (Olivier Ducastel et Jacques Martineau, 2000) or "L’Inconnu du lac" (Alain Guiraudie, 2013). The speakers will also start a discussion with the audience, able to take part at any time during the conference.
