Call for Visiting Researchers or Artists - 2018

Wage bracket: equivalent to visiting professor
The Labex will cover the travel expenses.

The Arts and Human Mediations Laboratory (Labex Arts-H2H) invites applications from external scholars, researchers and artists for a Visiting fellowship.

Are eligible international professors or artists junior/senior. Applicants must participate in an ongoing research or creation project of the Labex Arts-H2H. They vow to carry out a programme of specific actions (Hybrid conference*; seminar or workshop; master-class or tutoring). The invited artist must leave an artistic or critical work to the Labex Arts-H2H (creation, conference, article, etc.) elaborated during his/her stay.

Duration: one month between January and June 2018 or between October and December 2018.

A resume including a list of publications or completed projects and/or artworks (a French version of the resume must be included)

A programme of specific events: > A Hybrid conference* for the general public that can be held in French or English (precise title & subject) > An advanced seminar or a weekly research/artistic workshop > A master-class/supervision of junior researchers (Master/Doctorate) > The description of the foreseen artwork > Other potential contributions
A covering letter
A letter of support from the leader of the Labex project in which the applicant will be involved
The period of availability and the desired length of the stay in Paris
The candidate must not be over 65 during his/her stay.

*The Labex Arts-H2H Hybrid conferences reinvent the scientific conference form for all by combining speeches, performances, demonstration, projection. They deal with creation, mediation and reception processes in the fields of arts and human sciences.
