According to Lev Manovich, modeling and exploring databases form a new key category of culture: "info-esthetics".This esthetics of information is based on a semantic description of contents, on their clarity, for which a search engine would be the best tool. Shaping linguistic but also spatial information then appears as a new way to describe and represent the world.

The first part of the project will be a work session of 2 days which will deal with the issue of great information groups that are archives, from the viewpoint of arts and museums. The second part of the project led by two artists, Steina and Woody Vasulka, is an interactive multiplatforms creation, developed from their archives. This work will be a base for the development of interactive objects of cultural mediation for museums which offer smart navigation.
