The symposium "Graphic design, forms of history" was held in Paris on November 27-27, 2014. Its videos aims at contributing to the thoughts on how is created the particular history of graphic design.

About thirty years after this new field began to emerge, does it matter, or not, to defend an autonomous history of graphic design and typography ? What relations does this historiography maintain with research and practice in other fields ? These questions will be at the heart of this two-days program.
